Creating a website for a local business is always a pleasure, and this one was especially rewarding. Thanks to a generous referral from the Licking County Chamber of Commerce, Woodchuck Arts had the opportunity to design and build a new website for Project Architecture and Construction Company, a full-service firm based in Hebron, Ohio. With over 40 years of experience improving the landscape of Licking County, their legacy is visible all around us, and building this site gave our team a deeper appreciation for that history. We even recognized buildings we pass every day.

The primary goal of the new website was to showcase the full range of services Project Construction Company offers and highlight the many impressive projects they’ve completed. We also added an employee application form, made the backend easy to update, and built credibility features like testimonials, awards, and reviews to build trust with visitors and search engines.

One of the features we’re most proud of is the sortable project portfolio and masonry gallery. With so many completed projects, making the portfolio user-friendly and easy to explore was important. Using WordPress posts, we used a powerful plugin to quickly create filterable project galleries.

The masonry gallery also adds a clean, modern look to the site while allowing for images of varying sizes — no need to crop everything perfectly. It’s a great way to show off visual work without the stress of rigid formatting.
