February Font Check-In!
New fonts are popping up all of the time, and it’s good to keep an eye on the trends. Staying on top of current styles allows you to make minor, subtle tweaks to your branding to avoid getting so stale that you require a dramatic rebrand, which can confuse your customers.
That being said, there are cases where it may be best to start from scratch. If your branding has reached the point where a dramatic restyling is needed, maybe one of these fonts will be included in your new brand standards!
See the Serif’s
For the past few years, San Serif (a.k.a. clean and unadorned) fonts were by far the most popular. But now it looks like there is a new Serif in town! 😉 Lately we are seeing this font style everywhere, and we are falling for it, too! Here are three of our favorites of this new header font style:
These three fonts are all sturdy, yet have a sense of fun. The thickness of the fonts with the small adornments give them a bit of formality, yet some of the circular details give them a sense of joy. It’s hard not to get excited about them and want to change your style. They would work for a lot of different business types!

The cool thing about having so many fonts to choose from is that the chance of everyone’s taste being represented in a readable way increases!
