We met Big Mike of US Gym Products through our work with Tumbl Trak. US Gym Products is an authorized Tumbl Trak retailer. He was looking for someone to help him with SEO, SEM, and social media. We took a deep dive into his online marketing and quickly realized that he was losing money because his website needed to be updated and simplified. So we redesigned his website and cut his Google Ads budget in half while gaining him more online sales.
Website Design and Development
In this project, we focused on two key points:Â
One, create a website that increases user experience and functionality on usgymproducts.com.Â
Two, save Big Mike big money!
Here are some of the ways we improved the US Gym Products website:
- New intuitive navigationÂ
- Product streamlining by using WooCommerce variations, which created fewer layers and clicks for users
- Created a new process to deal with drop shipping products from various manufacturers that upgraded the process both internally and for the user
- Calculated and implemented shipping costs by state for specific product manufacturers
- Allowed tax calculations on products in the cart
- Integrated a secure online payment portal through Authorize.net
- Added a subscribe to email option
- Increased call to actions on the website, including click-to-call, email, and purchasing options
- Set-up coupon functions
- Created a category and product management system to streamline orders and organization of 500+ products
- Organized the portfolio to showcase gym design and installation
Next, we focused on saving Mike a large portion of his monthly money on Google AdWords. The results of this were:
- Reduces the Adwords monthly costs by 80%
- Average monthly sales increased by 165%
- Website users increased 2996%
- Page views increased 6374%
- Organic landing page visits increased by 125%
We have been working with him since 2016, and things are still going well!

Website Updates - Avg. of 1 - 2 per month
We provide any website updates that US Gym Products needs, and we charge by exactly the amount of time it takes. Some of the updates we provide are product price updates, adding new gym designs and installs to the portfolio, updating coupon codes, updating shipping and tax information, and anything else needed to keep the website information up to date and healthy. Â
Website Hosting
We host and maintain files, create and size needed website artwork, add any new information, and monitor that all website functions run consistently and efficiently.
Graphic Design
Woodchuck Arts offers a graphic design team to create custom images for use in any of your marketing materials. For Big Mike, we use those skills to create graphics for his website and social media. We also have access to 123rf.com and Adobe Stock photos so that we can offer images that are fully customizable.
Social Media Management
Big Mike does not like social media, but he knows he needs it for business credibility, so we manage his social media accounts for him. We create all the imagery and copy for his posts and place them on various platforms. We also take care of minor customer communication and keep him informed of any other social media communication.Â
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Woodchuck Arts has been helping US Gym with SEO since 2017. We do this by maintaining overall website health and speed and performing keyword research and page implementation on pages that US Gym wants to prioritize. We have taken the number of ranking organic keywords on his website from 265 to over 1.2k. US Gym ranks in the top 10 for over 150 keywords and the number keeps climbing. We no longer need to use Google AdWords, most of the website traffic is coming from organic search and repeat customers.
Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
One of the reasons Big Mike contacted us in the first place was to help with his Google Adwords. We no longer need to utilize them since his organic website search is gaining him enough website sales, but when we first took over his account management, we reduced his monthly cost by 80%.
