Podcasts We Love

Podcasts to Ponder

Our good friend, Larry King once said, “I remind myself every morning: Nothing I say this day will teach me anything. So if I am going to learn, I must do it by listening.”

Ok, Larry King really isn’t our good friend, but it got you listening! Which is exactly our mission this week (one point for team Woodchuck)! Although we would love to have you listen to us share some geeky tech talk, which we do love to do, this week we wanted to share a couple of the podcasts that our team really enjoys in hopes you can add them to your list too! Imagine all the things we could learn by simply opening our ears to really listen.

WorkLife by Adam Grant

Do you get up excited to go to work every day? If not, this podcast could be a game-changer for you! In WorkLife, Adam Grant takes you inside some of the world’s most unusual workplaces to discover the keys to better work. Whether it’s the co-worker in the cubicle next door or the narcissistic boss down the hall who can’t seem to do anything but criticize, WorkLife might just help you to view it all a little differently. And who couldn’t use a little encouragement?

Revisionist History by Malcolm Gladwell

Every week, Malcolm Gladwell takes you back into the past to examine something that he feels has been overlooked or misunderstood. He believes that it’s time to let the past speak up for itself again. It’s a journey into events that you may or may not remember, but each episode is filled with thoughtful discussion and insight that might blow your mind and change your perspective. Afterall, perspective is everything!

The GaryVee Audio Experience by Gary Vaynerchuk

If you actually read through our newsletters, you know we have mentioned Gary Vaynerchuk before, and there is a reason for that! (And thanks for reading our newsletters BTW) Like we said before, this is one to listen to after the kids are in bed because he talks like a drunken sailor, but he is one of the most insightful, brilliant entrepreneurs that we have come across. With everything from tech, to media, to business matters, Gary is the go-to! Best part? He’s relatable and pretty funny too!

The History Chicks by Beckett Graham and Susan Vollenweider

This one is for our fellow history buffs out there. Running a 100% woman owned and operated business, the relevance of this podcast is how all these amazing women that have preceded us and carved their way through history were each successful in their own way too. With stories and details of women like Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis, Joan of Arc, to Queen Elizabeth I, this podcast is full of great research and facts that truly bring these women to life. How much can we learn from those who have gone before us? (Rhetorical question but the answer is a lot!)
